FoodBoozeTunes: ‘(Pronounced ‘Leh-’Nérd ‘Skin-’Nérd)’

FoodBoozeTunes (1:18:20)

In this installment, having already eaten leftover Thanksgiving turkey, I listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s debut album (CD | MP3) and drink eight shots of Gentleman Jack whiskey while listening to the album.  I get into quite a rant during the bonus tracks.

This combination was inspired by my friend Whitny‘s suggestion back in May:  Dinty Moore Beef Stew + Miller High Life or Jack Daniel’s + “Simple Man.” I had already eaten (but I probably have Campbell’s-brand beef stew in the cupboard), I don’t drink Miller, and I don’t have regular Jack – so I had to improvise.  Gentleman Jack is good stuff.
